CEO | ANIMA CCC

Amalia Angelaki

I was born in Greece and I am a licensed psychologist and psychotherapist in Europe. I am also a globally Certified Health and Life Coach  and a PhD candidate in Psychology at the University of Bolton.
I have a postgraduate degree in Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy (CBT). I am a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the American Psychological Association (APA).

My first degree was in Social Theology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and I completed my postgraduate studies in Canon Law.

When I was in America, I attended courses for a year in the Department of Social Psychology at the University of Texas at Arlington, I was fascinated by this science and decided to devote myself completely.
I was trained in psychology and counseling with two years of studies at Pearson College in England.

I went on to obtain a BA in Psychology from the University of East London in England and subsequently my MA in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy from the University of Central Lancashire in England. Later, and after a year of training, I obtained a certification in Traumatic Stress Management from the Trauma Research Foundation.
To broaden my range of skills, for a more holistic approach, I trained at the Health Coach Institute and obtained an international certification in coaching.

I am the CEO of Anima Counselling and Coaching Center based in Miami.
Due to the fact that I am professionally active in Greece and America, I divide my time between the two countries.
